Why Should I Volunteer to Work with Habitat for Humany

Non-proselytizing policy
Habitat for Humanity International and its affiliated organizations will not proselytize. Nor will HFH work with entities or individuals who insist

Recent Habitat News

We are pleased to announce that Habitat House #7 at 310 S. Walnut in Creston has a proud new owner. Theresa Peterson took possession in early September. She and friends did a large amount of finish work on the home to get it ready for final occupancy. We at HFH of Union County are glad to welcome Theresa to our Habitat Owner Family.

Work continues on House #8. Final inside finish work is progressing. We are hopeful it will be completed and ready for occupancy in November.

In early October we had some new volunteers. Five ladies from The Great Western Bank helped install shelving on House #8 and will be working on a deck. They enjoyed their experience and we enjoyed having them.
