Non-proselytizing policy
Habitat for Humanity International and its affiliated organizations will not proselytize. Nor will HFH work with entities or individuals who insist

Habitat for Humanity breaks ground on House # 8.

While House number 7 is being completed, ground was broken on house 8. It is located at 908 W. Adair in Creston. Habitat has a new partner family for this home. We have a single mom and her young son partnering with us on this project. This home will be a three-bedroom 1096 square foot structure featuring an open style concept. By eliminating hallways we can create more useful living space. This will likely be the style for future habitat homes as well.  The home will be built over a crawl space and not have a garage. This greatly reduces the cost for our homeowners. As we have done in recent homes, the bulk of the construction will be done by the high school carpentry students under the auspices of SWCC. There will be ample need for volunteers to help complete this project as well. We and our partner family are excited about getting started on the project.

This site is under construction.
