Volunteering
Our Habitat Chapter has numerous volunteer opportunities. Because we are small these occur more or less randomly through out the year. If you have some particular skill we might have special things for you or you could even head up a project. If you are a novice we also have activities you might enjoy. Ramp and deck projects are among our most frequent projects. This is a chance to learn some valuable home repair and carpentry skills. We would always have someone the help and guide you. Our homes are mostly constructed by the SWCC and High School trades program but there is always finish work and painting at the end of the school term. None of this requires any long-term commitment. Because we never know ahead when a project might materialize, we ask you the give us your information to keep on file for when something comes up. You are under no obligation if you have other plans. This is a good opportunity to learn, have some good fellowship, and serve your community
